Short term effects
The most common adverse effects following therapeutic doses are hyperkinesia, insomnia, weight increase, somnolence, nervousness and depression. Other reported adverse effects include nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, abdominal pain, ataxia, vertigo, confusion, agitation, hallucinations, rash and angioedema.
